Fabriq is a personal, private app.
That means Fabriq is not a social network.
We will never share or sell your data to data brokers.
We do not contact the people you add to your circles in Fabriq, so no, they will not know that you added them to the app unless you tell them.
Fabriq and Threads by Fabriq provide a variety of services to streamline how you connect with the people you care about most. All of the information that you put into your Fabriq account is completely private and only for your personal use to strengthen your existing relationships. Because Fabriq is not a social network, you do not have a public profile and nobody has access to any hidden backdoors with which they could expose you and your bestie’s shared love of honey lavender lattes. Your secrets are safe with us.
To make inputting information into the app easier for you, we may ask to access your device’s contacts, photos, connected services, communication metadata, and/or appointment data. If you allow Fabriq access to any of these, we promise that it will not be shared with or sold to anyone or any other company, and we will not send notifications or communications to anyone in your contacts unless you tell us to.

Threads by Fabriq is a hybrid social-media messenger, so the information you add to your profile such as your name and photo are visible to those you choose to connect with. The updates you create (which may or may not include photos and videos) are available only to the people with whom you explicitly choose to share.
When you grant access to your photos and videos, we only use the photos or videos you individually pick for things like your profile avatar, photos pr videos you add to your updates, or photos or videos you send in the messenger. None of your other photos or videos are uploaded to our servers.
When you grant access to your contacts we only use this permission to show your contacts back to you in the app so that you’re able to select individual contacts in later steps. When you select individual contacts to receive your update, their phone number is added to your account so that we can deliver your update to them via text. When you select individual contacts to invite to connect with you on Threads, their phone number is used to identify a pending connection of yours, so that when they ultimately sign up for Threads the two of you are already connected.
Only the contacts you individually select in either circumstance will ever be sent to our server, the rest never leave your phone.

What we collect
We may collect your name, email address, and other personal information through our website, and you may also provide us information about your personal contacts, your relationship to them, and their contact information.
We may collect and store any personal information you enter on our website, or on a mobile applications, or provide to us in some other manner. This includes identifying information, such as your name, address, email address and telephone number, and, if you transact business with us, financial information such as your payment method (valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information). You may also provide us information about your interests and activities, your gender and age, and other demographic information such as your hometown or your username.
Fabriq and Threads by Fabriq provides a variety of Services that enable you to effectively manage contact information that you provide to us as part of those Services. Contacts typically contain information on individuals (or organizations) including names, email addresses, phone numbers, URLs, social handles, online identifiers, and physical addresses. Your Contacts may also contain additional information on individuals such as organizational affiliations, job titles, birthdays, key dates, age, gender, general location, relationships, skills, interests, preferences, notes, photos, tags, and other categorizations. Depending on which Services you elect to use, Contacts may be collected and stored in one or more of the following ways:
Connected Services. Fabriq and Threads by Fabriq Services may allow you to connect with external systems or databases that contain your Contacts. Examples include but are not limited to: 1) third-party contact management applications and services, 2) communication applications such as email providers, video conferencing systems, calendar applications, and social networks, and 3) sales, marketing, customer service, and media applications and platforms. Connections to such services generally require you to sign into those services.
User Interfaces. Many Fabriq and Threads by Fabriq Services allow you to directly enter, edit, or otherwise manage your Contacts by means such as typing into a user interface, importing from your device or speaking to a voice interface.
APIs. Contacts may also be collected when you submit Contacts through Fabriq’s API. This includes both APIs for directly managing contacts as well as APIs for lookup or search.
Third-Party Applications. Fabriq and Threads by Fabriq may enable you to manually or automatically transfer, upload, or copy-and-paste contact information from certain third-party applications into Fabriq.
Shared Contacts. Other Fabriq and Threads by Fabriq users may elect to share their Contacts or their personal contact details with you.
Fabriq and Threads by Fabriq provides a variety of Services that enable you to effectively manage your relationships. Depending on which Services you elect to use, relationship information may be collected and stored in one or more of the following ways:
Your Contacts. Your Contacts suggest a certain relationship between you and the people or organizations those Contacts represent. Your Contacts may explicitly indicate the nature of the relationship. We may also infer the strength or nature of a relationship based on the presence or absence of certain contact information such as mobile numbers or key dates, as well as shared elements such as physical addresses or organizational affiliations. Inferred relationship information may also be based on how you interact with individual Contacts such as how often you access or modify them.
Connected Services. Many Fabriq and Threads by Fabriq Services allow you to connect with external systems or databases that may contain information on your relationships, such as “connections” on social networks or other platforms.
Communication Metadata. Certain Fabriq and Threads by Fabriq Services may infer relationship information based on communication patterns. For example, any time communication is initiated within a Fabriq application, we may collect communication metadata including the individual contacted, the time, and the length or duration of the communication. We may similarly collect communication metadata from services you have elected to connect to Fabriq and/or Threads by Fabriq, such as email providers. In some cases, communication metadata may be collected directly from a device. We will not process the content of the communication unless you have explicitly asked us to do so (e.g., for purposes of contact extraction).
Notification Metadata. Certain Fabriq and Threads by Fabriq Services, like the “Communication Monitoring” feature available to Android users, require access to your Notification Center. We may collect information such as names of people you interact with and which 3rd-party apps (like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, etc.) those notifications originated from to identify possible connections and facilitate easier connection tracking.
While granting access to your Notifications on your device may allow more permissions, Fabriq only collects names and app names. We will not read, collect, or save any other content of these notifications or access any notification settings that you have set up.
If at any time you no longer wish for Fabriq to monitor your communications for recent connections this permission can be disabled in your native settings.
Appointment Data. If you have connected a calendar or scheduling service to Fabriq, we may collect information such as the appointment time, location, duration, and participants.
We use various technologies to collect information from your device and about your activities on our site or application.
We automatically collect information from your browser or device when you visit our website or application. This information could include your IP address, device ID, your browser type and language, access times, the content of any undeleted cookies that your browser previously accepted from us, and the referring website address.
When you visit our website or application, we may assign your device one or more cookies, to facilitate access to our site and to personalize your online experience. Through the use of a cookie, we also may automatically collect information about your online activity on our site, such as the pages you visit, the time and date of your visits, the links you click, and the searches you conduct on our site. During your visits to other websites or applications where we advertise, we (or third parties) may use certain data collected on our site to show you OurFabriq.com advertisements. If you choose to decline, disable, or prevent the setting of cookies, please note that you may not be able to sign in or use some of the interactive features offered on our website.
We use, store, and process information, including Personal Data, to provide, understand, improve, and develop our Services, create and maintain a trusted and safer environment, and comply with our legal obligations.
We may use standard Internet technology, such as web beacons and other similar technologies, to track your use of our site.
We may allow service providers, advertising companies, ad networks, and other third parties, to display advertisements on our site. We do not provide any non-anonymized personal information to these third parties.
What happens with that information
We may use information that we collect about you to:

Who we may share your information with
We may share information, including personal information, with third parties that perform certain services on our behalf. These services may include fulfilling orders, providing customer service (including through our users who moderate flagged content for the Fabriq community) and marketing assistance, performing business and sales analysis, ad tracking and analytics, member screenings, supporting our website functionality, and supporting contests, sweepstakes, surveys and other features offered through our website.
We may also share your name, contact information and credit card information with our service providers who process credit card payments.
These service providers may have access to personal information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purposes.
When you register or make purchases on our website or click-through our advertisements offered on third party websites or applications, we may share personal information with the businesses with which we partner to offer you the applicable products, services or any advertisements. When you elect to engage in a particular merchant’s offer or program, you authorize us to provide your email address and other information to that merchant.
